I picked 20k. A small surge, but it's going to need more than a price drop i'm afraid.

Yea, price drop means nothing. Prop memory needs to be nixed or at the very least dropped in price by half and games need to be announced for it that makes people want to drop the cash on it.

SEGA DREAMCAST, it only does everything.

yeah they only sold 4 plus million, and I bet the first week sales are gonna surge as there must be at least 4 million people waiting for the price drop from all the post's I read on the different boards.

First they scream Vita needs a price drop, Sony drops price

Now its Vita needs more games.

50k+. It's accompanied by some very good games both before and after the price drop in Japan.

A price cut wouldn't matter as much in the west right now because the killer software isn't anywhere to be found until autumn. The strongest season is now in Japan though.

Price Drop + Silver + 32GB Bundle + Ninja Gaiden + PSO2 + Shinovi Versus = 40k, maybe a bit less.

There are always extremists when it comes to polls.

I highly doubt they'd sell 100k. 10k is still realistic but it depends on how many people know the Vita's getting a price drop in Japan and who's actually getting it (out of the ones who don't have a Vita yet I could add).

You don't want to be famous for your trophies. Hakoom is an example of this.

Because the price drop was a step in the right direction. Now bring games and price drop on the memory card.

Well the 3DS, after it's price drop went to about 200k from an average level of about 25,000 before the drop. So an 8x increase.

The Vita's average is somewhere around 9k right now, so I'd expect in the 70k to 80k range.

That being said, my gut tells me it'll be in the 40k to 50k range.

So if Nintendo changed the name of the Wii - U, would they be pulling a U-Wii?
