I hate to not help you troll, but doesn't this always happen after any company reveals new hardware?

Yes, it has, since around the PS2 days. This is nothing bad, abnormal, or new. THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS. ALWAYS.

And for some reason, Nintendo's stock in Japan dropped after they got Monster Hunter exclusivity.

I don't understand stockholders.

Stock and share prices have less to do with the performance of a company and more to do with the whims of traders, honestly. Like any other commodity, stock prices have to do with supply and demand; a stocks prices rise when people want more stocks than people have stocks to sell and stock prices drop when more people have more stocks to sell than people are buying.

It's likely that all this means is that either an investor tried to offload some of his stocks or someone just didn't follow through stock buy.

In the short term... yes. When you see something's price deflating over a year, it's not exactly a trade effect.

YEah, but we're talking about a 1% drop shortly after a conference that went back up.... Hardly long term.

This happens with everyone... Geez trolls aren't even trying nowadays, no matter what board it's on they just post bad news and say "OUCH!" like it's the end of the company.
