Transferring PSP games and demos from PS3 to Vita

I've had no problem transferring Vita games and demos from my PS3 but when I try to transfer PSP games/demos from my PS3 to my Vita they don't show up.
Any tips? Anything different I need to do?

Not all PSP games work on Vita and none of the PSP demos work on Vita.

I'm pretty sure all of the games I downloaded though said PSP/Vita compatible.
Which is why I downloaded them
