"More than a year and a half after its announcement at E3 2011, Irrational's BioShock game for PlayStation Vita is still not in development. A deal has still not been signed between Take-Two - Irrational's parent company - and platform holder Sony."

""I work for a company, for Take-Two. If they want us to do a game they need a deal in place that works for them and that makes sense for Sony."

""I've got people to pay," Levine continued. "'Hey guys, do you want to work on this and not feed your family?'"

So anyone want to bet that there will be no bioshock for the vita?

Absolute BS. IMO it's basically false advertising to announce a game like this before they even have real plans to start development.

Thats Sony's fault. If you read his interview he states that he only said the game was coming because its what Sony wanted him to say, basically only to get the hype train rolling for the Vita. The only problem is that after that Sony did nothing to back him to get the game development rolling. Now the game is pretty much in limbo because neither side is budging to pay for development.

Well Sony should give them the Big Bucks and get this game on Vita , only if they promise to do a good job, unlike Black Ops.

Vita needs these type of big games but they have to turn out GOOD and not rushed.

I hope Sony wake up to themselves and realize that they need to be the ones to lure Devs to the Vita, and if takes a lot of money at first so be it.

Pisses me off cause it was a big reason for me buying a vita. Having a portable Bioshock would be heaven. Sad it's prolly never gonna happen.

I think it'll still happen after sony stops focusing mainly on the ps4. I give it six months and it will be announced.
