Kamui_333Posted 2/27/2013 8:30:10 AM | Thinking about getting a Vita, what is considered the "best" games or killer apps? Opinions are appreciated. |
MeganTheMooCowPosted 2/27/2013 8:33:48 AM | Of the games currently available in the US, I'd say:
Persona 4 Golden Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward Disgaea 3 BlazBlue
There are a lot more available in Japan that are still being localized for US/Europe. |
Lord_VishanaPosted 2/27/2013 8:35:22 AM(edited) | My personal favorites are these. :-)

Those are my top 3 at the moment but there are a good amount of other great games. --- "And the companies get those blank dvds for pennies, burn to them, then sell them for $60. That's ok?" -TheGlow |

Nophoria88Posted 2/27/2013 8:50:30 AM | Persona 4 Golden Disgaea 3 Gravity Rush Assassins Creed Liberation Uncharted LittleBigPlanet Ragnarok Odyssey (if you're playing with someone) PlayStation Allstars Metal Gear HD Collection
There are other games you'll likely enjoy, these are the ones that I think kind of stand above the crowd though. When Soul Sacrifice comes out in April, it'll replace Ragnarok on that list though. |
Kamui_333(Topic Creator)Posted 2/27/2013 12:55:34 PM | I notice a lot of these are just ports of games already available on PS3. Are any of these games that you would recommend over there PS3 counterparts, or are they mostly the same?
Usually if a game has an identical console and handheld version I prefer the console. |

Usually if a game has an identical console and handheld version I prefer the console. The benefits are - Portability - Off TV Play - Party Chat - Sleep/Resume - Incredible digital marketplace This is the core reasons to use Vita over PS3. |
amnesiacuttoothPosted 2/27/2013 1:00:02 PM | Persona 4 Golden adds new content from the PS2 version.
Many of these are not ports though; e.g LBP is a completely new game.
Personally, I'd recommend P4G, LBP & Gravity Rush.
I was gonna recommend Rayman Origins but you said no ports. |
