Best Vita Games?

Also, if you want FPS game, I'd say Resistance.

It's not very good, but it's much better than the alternatives (CoD is awful).

Persona 4 Golden adds new content from the PS2 version.

Many of these are not ports though; e.g LBP is a completely new game.

Personally, I'd recommend P4G, LBP & Gravity Rush.

I was gonna recommend Rayman Origins but you said no ports.

Well if a port is good enough I might double dip, that's why I was asking. For instance I'm thinking about the Vita version of Mortal Kombat, but I have no idea if the extra content is worth it when I already own the PS3 version and DLC.

I notice a lot of these are just ports of games already available on PS3. Are any of these games that you would recommend over there PS3 counterparts, or are they mostly the same?

Usually if a game has an identical console and handheld version I prefer the console.

Sound Shapes is better and even if it's a completely different game, LBP is better than any PS3 LBP. Disgaea 3 has all the (substantial) DLC from the PS3 version included and is the same game apart from that pretty much. Persona 4: Golden looks better than the PS2 game and has extras. Plants vs. Zombies has better controls than the PS3 version but the same controls can also be had on mobiles cheaper than the Vita version.

It took too long for LittleBigPlanet to be mentioned.

Gravity Rush, Ragnarok, Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet are not ports. The Metal Gear HD Collection and All-Stars (also Sly Cooper) were released on both, which should be multi-platform rather than a port... Disgaea 3 has all the DLC and added content, Persona 4 would have to be played on a PS2 which would be blurry on any hdtv and this version has added content such as new character/music/story additions.

Some games I would never give a chance on console such as Disgaea 3, I rather be playing big budget titles on my PS3 such as Ni No Kuni, but on a handheld Disgaea 3 fits perfectly. And Persona 4 is actually given a chance to be played in high definition with added content, something that is much appreciated and give me the opportunity to play it. Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2? While I may not play it because it's not my type of game, is a feat to recreate on a portable, gotta give props where props are due.

I guess I'm just the other way around where I see the same game on a handheld as more appealing.
