For a Japanese account, all I need is a seperate memory card?

PSO2 requires atleast an 8 gig card and no, you do not NEED two cards but it's recommended. You can back up all your data on a PC or PS3 and switch accounts that way.

The memory card is a start but you also need a japanese account. Be aware that japanese vita games are priced differently than American ones. (Mainly they are more expensive). Also you have to buy psn yen cards,( you can buy them digitally.)
