Sure enough, I held up the phone lengthwise underneath the vita and the phone's screen extends about a quarter inch in each direction. Not a big difference, and probably speaks more to the size of a galaxy note 2 rather than the vita itself being small (it's not).
Now I wish I could play my games on the phone instead! XD

Awesome phone and despite my fears of it being too big it easily fits into my pockets and I'm a small person (167 cm). I used my previous smartphones (iPhone 3G and HTC Desire HD) so much for basically everything that I figured the bigger screen would only enhance the experience, I was right XD
But no matter how awesome the phone is, dedicated handhelds are still as important to me as ever. I do have to admit that I like playing a few more casual games on my phone like Candy Crush, Solitaire and Mahjong Artifacts. Sometimes when I'm on the couch with my GF I don't want to be completely absorbed by Persona 4+Headphones so I just play some casual games on my phone while watching TV with her.
