Who the hell shuts the whole thing off instead of just using sleep mode anyway ?

I shut it off when I'm done playing. Why wouldn't I?
I also shut it off before bundling it up and bringing it to school with me. I want max usage time while I am there, and sleep mode still drains battery, albeit much more slowly.

What the hell is with kids these days not shutting things off? No need to stress the system. And don't draw comparisons to cell phones that are never off, because seriously, one is expected to replace a cell phone every two years at most. That's why most plans have free upgrades.

N64, snes, game boy, nes, genesis, and game gear load way faster than today's consoles.

We use sleep modes and leave our devices on standby just because it's more convenient. No stress :)
