I was never one for Monster Hunter or any of it's clones. I'll wait for a demo and see where that leads.
the only thing that SS has in common with MonHun is that there are 4 players fighting a big boss, nothing else, not building armor, not armor system, magic and weapons, whiole MonHun is only weapons.
The gameplay looks Monster Hunterish enough for me to barely be interested in it. Again, I'm going to need a demo or it's going to have to get one hell of a reception for me to consider buying it.
It seems like it, but you fight in a small to medium area against a boss or a few enemies, you choose you magic or Power seeds before a match and then you or you and a few people/friends take on a boss in different ways, if you die you can as kfor them to revive you or sacrifice you or let you die.
If they choose to make you live they lose half of their health (most of the time), if you choose to die you just watch them but if you are sacrificed your death deals dmg to the enemy and you can help strengthen your party for a certain time or you can make your enemies defense weaken!
