Sly was number 9. FE didn't even chart, so it sold more than just 117k+.

Technically you're right, but we don't even know if FE was 11, so yeah.

That's what happens when you slap a popular name on a bad game.

Over 30 sites in Japan and hundreds of blogs for gaming reviews.
Japanese public still buys A TERRIBAD GAME.

This is why the PS4 will be a success. Obviously won't care. Obviously will buy because it has Sony on it.

Tell that to the Vita and the PS3 for the first few years.

Nice to see Sly Cooper not totally flopping at least. According to the Fire Emblem numbers it sold 117k+ on Vita+PS3 combined, only counting physical sales. 117k+ could mean anything but I don't think it's by any means terrible even at that.

lol wut?

Fire Emblem sold 117k physical and 62k digital on 3DS last month. It did not chart in the top 10. This means that Sly on PS3 and Vita, without counting digital sales, sold more than 117k copies. Given the scope and budget of the game, I'd say those are good sales.

Anyway, Vita sales were less than 40k in January. Going up 30% seems like a big %, but it's hardly notable when Vita is still floundering there. It needs a price cut, and not the tiny insignificant price cut it got in Japan.

Also, since Dead Space 3 debut at number 2 with 260k, we know Sly sold less than that at retail, but more than Fire Emblem which sold 117k at retail.

We'll never know the PS3/Vita split, but it's likely more heavily skewed to PS3 since the PS3 version CAME with the free Vita version. We also will never know the digital sales of the game on either platform, but it's likely it did disproportionately well on Vita through digital.
