Last Pokemon game i played was Silver/Gold and the Viet Crystal bootleg lol for the GBC

Sure i guess, i'd want to see how much it's changed.

I'd be happy with a Digimon Dawn / Dusk sequel.

If it was.. I would sell my 3DS. I only buy Nintendo handhelds for Pokemon, lol. But yeah.. this will never happen since GameFreak is a second party company.

Meh. I am indifferent to it. Like others, dabbled with Pokemon in HS. I only played the Silver/Gold series, via a HK bootleg copy too haha. The only Legendary pokemon I caught was Ho-oh. But that was my only foray into Pokemon.

I converted to Sony when I got my PS2 as a gift. After GBA I never touched another Nintendo system or console again. The DS and its iterations to me never really felt right or comfortable. I have several Japanese games I would love to play on a 3DS/DS but it is not worth it in my view. Region lock killed the appeal for me. I rather spend $300 or $400 for an import system and play games from any region than one where it is locked.

If Nintendo ever made 3DS or a future handheld region free, I might bite. Yes the DS Lite is region free but meh.

I couldn't get in to Black, and haven't played Black 2/White 2. They would need to make it more like the old GameBoy games as far as story goes and less yawn-inducing like Black/White were. I have not played Ru/Sa/Em or Di/Pe/Pl.

I may or may not buy it, depending on how good people say it is.

No. I already have a 3DS, and I'm not a huge fan of Pokemon anyway.

Not if its the same old same old thats been getting milked for over a decade now. Dont get me wrong I have put some serious hours into the older titles but I can just dig out my old gold, yellow or blue cart, or even a rom to get my fix. If it was an actual 3d (not the half assed x&y thats coming out) I would purchase day 1

Anyway, whether you're a fan of the series or not.. you should want the answer to be "yes." This game literally moves systems and the sales for it are insane.
