Whenever I try to set a picture as my background, it gets all pixelated despite the picture being a perfect fit (960x544). I've already seen multiple topics about this issue on different sites, but nobody seems to know what to do about it.
The problem already occured since the launch of the Vita, so I was hoping someone knows a way around this problem by now.
Here's an example of what it looks like: Normal: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7209/6815916482_5ab67c70f5_b.jpg

I never had such an issue. Perhaps you have an older firmware that has this bug?
Try saving the pictures in a different format, like .bmp. Or does Vita only accepts .jpeg? --- Japanese Import System Collection: PSP-3000 (White/Blue, Black/Red, Red/Black, Sky Blue/Marine Blue), PS3 (Scarlet Red), PS Vita (Cosmic Red)
