Graphically, how much do you think the Vita can advance within its lifetime?

Early system games typically don't present a system's full potential graphically.

Compare early PS2 games to late gen PS2 games. The difference is night and day.

The Vita can already pull-off games comparable to PS3, Uncharted, Virtua Tennis and BlazBlue being good examples.

What can we expect to see within the next years? MGS4 grade? Red Dead Redemption grade?

I think the Vita is capable of much more than what we've seen thus far but the problem is getting companies to put down the money to push the Vita to its limits, including Sony.

Vita's graphics will improve a lot over the years. Vita's hardware is very unfamiliar to developers, especially when most have never developed on a quad core system. Most current games are very poorly optimized due to both a lack of knowledge and laziness.

Vita will never be able to put out games as that look as good as the best looking PS3 games, but it will certainly get very close.

Idk....but in my honest opinion, I think it depends on the game developers.
I know when and if Square Enix made a game for the Vita, the graphics would be out standing.
If some other company made one, it would be....ehh...

Idk, that's mine opinion. I may be wrong, but that's what I've seen on psp.

That's similar to how I feel too.. I wish SE would seriously consider the VITA.

Dissidia 3 would probably look amazing.

I disagree with the last statement though.. UCGA, Wipeout, KZM looks great.. maybe you meant a differently with "other company" (something like non AAA studio perhaps?).

@ topic.. Nothing above PS3.

Vita is probably at its limits already. Unless they unlock the CPU and GPU.

I believe it can still push for graphics comparable to FFXIII but it may suffer clipping and fps drops

Nice reminder.. might happen like the advent of PSP 2000... from 222 to 333 Mhz right?

Vita has potential for more.

Sony needs to polish the SDK for the Vita more too. Devs are still bound by that.
