Can you output the ps vita video to your TV and play it in HD big screen?

If so, what type of adapter to I need? I ask because I mainly play games at home, and there are 2 ps vita games coming out. And bigger is always better.

There's no HDMI or video out. Honestly, it's probably for the best since the games would look pretty bad stretched out to 1080p.

I have a HD converter for my PSP, it looks pretty good, and the lack of neck strain would be worth it for at least 720p

Well the Accessory Port could be used at some point in the future to do that once Sony creates a cable for it an enables Video out in a firm ware updAte.

I have an HDMI cable with one end that fits in that slot so anythings possible.

As of right now its just a mystery port with no function.
