Invizimals is coming to the Vita. Why does everyone ignore/forget about it? It's much better than pokemon in the way you find them.

I am going to tear you apart for saying that.

You're a cute little 11 year old.

You don't need to be 11 to enjoy a damn game.

Pokemon goes beyond its initial appearance. Yes it can be beaten by a complete novice with out much effort but there are so many other ways to play the game that its really evolved into a beast of its own. EV/IV training is on a whole other level compared to just simply training to level up. You take things into account such as the type of Pokemon you need to fight, its nature, its abilities, etc etc. Some people end up breeding hundreds of the same Pokemon just to get one with the right nature or right ability so it can be most effective for EV/IV training. Then theres also finding the right moveset and items to compliment the type of Pokemon you've created. Basically its finding ways to create a perfect Pokemon and Pokemon Team. Pokemon's metagame is one of the most competitive of the bunch.

its not a deep strategy game is like.........
that is only applied for those who wish to play pokemon competitively

so the "deep strategy" term for pokemon is not universal..........
what i mean is : the pokemon game ITSELF is NOT strategically deep, but it CAN be strategically deep if you wish to play this game competitively, right?

their own version of pokemon?

l say it would have had more success than what playstation all star battle has had. lsn't Pokemon more popular than SSB?
l have no idea to be honest, all l know it's a much enjoyable game.

l know pokemon games sell by the crap load....so what's stopping Sony, hmm?

list of why....

1. they would have to make a show.... to most part only show i really liked that was made in us anime/cartoon was... avatar the last airbender (RL movie was murdered,2nd spin off series taking them to long to make season by season....)

2 it must be cool and well made...

3. even if it is all of this theirs a high chance it will fail fanbase fanbase ect
(even people who dont really care for pokemon agree that that rather play a pokemon game then some copy of a pokemon game)

with all that said sony does have a good game... that they should remake... and make more of like the 2nd one and 3rd one.... (4th one wasnt as good as 2nd and 3rd) 1st one took to long as it was like restarting over and over...

and that games name was.... DIGIMON WORLD (rumble arenas were good)

Fair enough, so you know nothing about the games then. That's fine, no one can know all of them. But yes, Pokemon is a game of immense strategy, with the deepest metagame out there

lol Really? that game was beatable with only 3 pokemons by a complete newbie, and its a deep game with immense strategy?

if you are willing, please give me an explaination
seeing i only played 1 pokemon game (and that game suck imo)
maybe you could enlighten me

In Pokemon Emerald, Platinum FireRed/LeafGreen, there's this thing called "Battle Frontier"/Battle Tower. In BlackWhite 2, they call it the "Pokemon World Tournament". Play that and come back to us.

Pokemon metagame in a nutshell.

On topic, TC, the PSP did have a Pokemon clone. Note the lack of its mention in this topic alone is a sign of its success: http://www.gamefaqs.com/psp/929838-monster-kingdom-jewel-summoner

so you only requires to strategically plan your pokemons in that mode only??
even tetris can be strategically deep if people went for competitiveness....
my point is that, that "strategically deep" only applies for some of the player and not whole......

now let get an example from monster rancher 2, casual player will most likely wont be able to win even S rank tourney without preparation and plannings, let alone the legend cup.....and if you went for competitiveness, it adds another depth to the game.........very very sad this franchise died.....

btw, 1 thing i hate about monster kingdom is that game has crazy troublesome requirements for evolution (the quickest way is to manipulate the PSP date and time settings)

In a sense, not really. The final boss of Diamond/Pearl/Platinum is Cynthia. There has been arguements on her being one of the, if not the most difficult final boss for a the main Pokemon game.

When someone hacked into the game and extracted her battle data, it discovered that one of the reasons why she, especially her Garchomp, is so powerful is because the Garchomp has perfect 31 IVs in ALL the stats. Meaning it is amongst the most powerful in-game trainer Pokemon period. And because Garchomp itself is already very powerful, the perfect IV made it even more difficult to beat.

GameFreak repeated this with Ghetsis's Hydreigon in the orignal Black/White games, which has the same perfect IV spread. There has been stories, of people playing competitively even, that had trouble with that Hydreigon:-

It's not deep, you say?

http://www.smogon.com/bw/articles/bw_gravity

Here's a 30 page guide on using the move Gravity in Black/White. Or this:

http://www.smogon.com/bw/articles/bw_ou_rain

A 46 page guide on using rain. But only in Black/White and in the OU tier. For different version and tiers, there are different guides. Oh, and the guide for using sunny weather in Black/White OU is only 29 pages. Another favorite of mine is the guide on stalling in B/W uber tier battles:

http://www.smogon.com/bw/articles/ubers_stall

Merely 91 pages!

for every Pokemon, there are also articles on using them. For using Heatran in B/W OU, there's a 9 page guide, for instance. If you claim that Pokemon isn't deep, you're only making a fool out of yourself. These games are among the deepest ever.
