Any one else getting tired of all these indies games?

They take so little effort to make, get so much hype, then they sell for half the price of new games.

Take Sound Shape for example. Simple graphics, designs. Doesn't take a whole 200+ people company like Square to make it. Yet it sells for $15.
Tbh I bought Sound Shape due to the hype and thought it would be good, I put it down after the 6th level. Was sooo repetitive and boring. But that's just me.

Now there's this Thomas Was Alone crap with RECTANGLES. MOTHER OF GOD, RECTANGLES. It costed like what, $200 dollars+a few hours to make this game?! The NES could do better than this.

And yes I know, gameplay before graphics. But I honestly really miss those days like back in the PS1 days where games were actual full blown games, and not these ripoffs.

I just feel like indie games are over hyped and overrated.

I actually liked Braid :) But that game actually looked good with a decent art style. That game actually felt like the developer put thought and time into it. This Thomas game on the other hand....rectangles. All I can say. Epitome of lazy cash-in.

I bought both the 3DS and the Vita. Atleast I know the taste of both worlds and didn't have to be a fanboy, defending a single system.

Oh god yeah. Indie games and JRPGs are garbage that are filling up the Vita's catalogue. We need more well known games. Where is Gran Turismo, GTA, Infamous, Battlefield? We also need more Uncharteds, Metal Gears, Killzones, and Batman games.

Too much of something is bad enough
But something's coming over me to make me wonder
Too much of nothing is just as tough
I need to know the way to feel to keep me satisfied
