I'm very tempted to get it right now. Anybody who's played it, thoughts? Is it kind of open-world-ish or was that just the impression I got from watching gameplay?

It's pretty cool. Kinda open-world, as you select bounties and then track down the baddies. But it basically forces you in the direction to find them.

If you like like platformers and quirky first-person shooters I think it's safe to say you'll enjoy it. It's very open-ended in the combat, since you use 'live ammo' that affects enemies differently.

It can be difficult, though, if you don't use the intended ammo at the right times. And if you play on hard, good luck.
Don't listen to Stargazer64, he owns Nintendo(n't) consoles and is a well-known troll around these parts. - Rotuhiiri

It's a good game. Good graphics, smooth frame rate and enjoyable. It gives the feeling of open world game play but its not actually. onsidering its so cheap you have to wonder why certain games are more $$$. Just buy it. You'll like it.

OK I think I'll get it then, from watching gameplay it seems like exactly the kind of game I would like but I wanted to be sure lol. Semi-open-world is cool with me!

Just so you know, in case that you don't like the zoom in method of using the back touchpad, they made an update to switch that to the up d-pad button.

It's really good except for the one timer-based level near the end. That one sucks even on easy. But the rest of the game is great, enough that I bothered to replay it for the trophies and enjoy doing it.
