The Vita would sell more if it had more...

Pew pew pew games. Seriously, CoD and Resistance are supposingly crap (haven't played them myself but that's what I've read). All it needs are 2-3 good pew pew games and the current generation of gamers would be all over it.

Yay or Nay?

I think that it's not selling more due to the that fact that the thing is expensive as hell.

And I'm not a fan of the FPS genre on handhelds so I'm going to have to go with a nay.

the vocal minority seem to think they want fps to be portable but what will sell is actual portable games that are enhanced by being portable and cannot be played as easy on a home console. For example pokemon and monster hunter, they would work on console but are enhanced by their portability. This is what every handheld needs, a game that is enhanced by its portability.

I'm thinking a Borderlands style game would work great on a portable. All it would need is something you collect together locally and online, that would look great on Vita and it would sell, since it would be better on portable than on consoles. The problem with the "console on the go" experience, is that it's watered down, so they need "console graphics portable games on the go" instead.

Exactly, the no brainers would eat it up for some pew pew on the go. CoD was advertised as such but it fell face first. I do believe if done right, FPS can be enhanced by being on a portable.

Killzone never saved the PS2 or PS3. It will not be a system seller on Vita either.

There is nothing that enhances those games by them being potable, other than their obvious portability. Which would be true with most games including FPS's. When I played MGS Peace Walker on my PS3, there was nothing that took away from the game because I was playing on my T.V. While some may mention lack of multiplayer because of portability, There are games like Far Cry 3/ Blood Dragon that would lend themselves beautifully to handhelds.

Exactly, needs moar Halo and COD, they actually move units. Shame one's owned by MS and the other's owned by a company with more money than it knows what to do with.

i think if they want to sell more, the first thing they should do is lower the memory card price.
