If someone doesn't have a PC, odds are they shouldn't be buying a Vita.

Normally, I would agree, but basically all my family (except maybe two of my cousins and I) have some old Pentium 4 tower hooked up to a 4:3 monitor that runs XP. For average people who don't game on PC and just use it for their mail, Facebook and Microsoft Office crap, it works.

And most if not all of the indie games released on PSV would run fine on that.

Meh you could maybe argue that they are better to play on a small screen but what does it matter anyway

Everyone has a PC capable of playing these indie games.

How does that make you feel?

You'd be surprised how many people are computer illiterate.

I really was not aware. I know that Terraria is capable of running on a potato but I figured Hotline Miami and Limbo wouldn't, for example.

I think they prefer to be called Native Americans, not Indies.

Funny. I was thinking of Indians too, when I first read the topic title.

I can, in fact, confirm that Limbo runs on a potato. I can play Hotline Miami but it keeps crashing at that one violent part.

These aren't exactly demanding games. That's why Vita is able to run them.
