How do you feel about the buttons on the Vita?

I'm really interested in the Vita after checking out some of the games, but after trying it in Gamestop I was a bit put off by the buttons. They just seemed really small to me. The analog sticks also seemed to have this problem. What do Vita owners think of this? Has it been an issue for you or did you get used to it?

To give a personal comparison, I felt like the PSP buttons were just right aside from the cheap-feeling shoulder buttons.

Pretty much this. I feel very comfortable while playing on my Vita.

Maybe I just need more time to play around with it. I really liked everything else.

They feel great and feel very responsive. The shoulder buttons feel a bit inconsistent at times but if you press it right, its feels pretty good.

It took time for me adjust. Maybe 3 days or a week.

I used to think the PSP buttons were much superior due to its bigger size and no clicks.. (even the VITA dpad clicks).

Now I think they're equally comfortable.

a little small but the dpad is so so nice. very clicky and responsive, not mushy like on console controllers

Shoulders, start and select all suck. The 4 face buttons are OK, but not great.

The d-pad is godly, the face buttons are perfect (a bit too small for some people but what the hay), the shoulder buttons feel mushy at first but you get used to it, and the start/select buttons are a bit awkward.
