Why is there hardly any vita games? It disturbs me.

As a vita owner I was hoping for PS Vita to be at least on par with 3ds in terms of a game library.

What is it about the Vita that makes devs scared s***less to put anything on it?

I guess all these horrible sales did matter after all.

yeah vita is flopping badly, why would any dev's want to go down with it?
vita won't be around in a year or so but the 3ds will still be going strong.

Vita will still be around in a year or so, it's foolish to think otherwise. The lack of people owning it is what's causing the lack of games.

Lack of games=Lack of people who own the console
Lack of people who own the console=Lack of games

My prediction is, this cycle isn't going to end anytime soon.

Sony need to make more AAA games before we can have third party support

Vita is stuck in a very awkward position. It costs too much to make really ambitious, nice-looking games, and when they come out they likely won't sell enough to justify the development costs. It's not quite powerful enough to handle straight ps3 / 360 ports, plus most of the devs who like to make graphics-intensive games are already jumping to the ps4/xbone.

So that's why we get old indie ports and one or two 'bones' here and there.

As far as pure Vita games are concerned, yes, there is a noticeable lack of them. I only have one physical Vita game (Soul Sacrifice) and the rest are freebies off of PS+. P4G, Muramasa, Ragnarock, etc. are niche, too, so it doesn't help the Vita's case.

There seem to be a few good Vita games coming up this year (Ys being the one I'm dying to get), but they may come down to all being thrown into a niche too (Except maybe Killzone?)

That said, because of PS+ I never seem to lack a reason to turn my Vita on. Ports and old PS1/PSP games are hardly enough reason for one to purchase this device, however.

There are a hundred games. Stop listening to the Internet and go on the Psn.

There's plenty of vita games. Tired of the lies.
