We finally have a comparison shot of the Vitas OLED vs LCD screen...

The comparison is inherently flawed on the basis that we're viewing this on a computer screen.

*hugs launch vita*

Get em while you still can, folks. I may even buy a second one as backup.
I love video games : )

I am glad I got the original one. Though I am bit afraid of the burnins, the mura is nonexistent on my Vita :P I would probably get the new model for my sister for christmas maybe, along with tearaway.

Psh, cognitive dissonance.
If you're willing to make an effort, anything can happen (I hope...)

wow the graphic on the 2000 looks great !

It reminds me when I compared watching a video on my PSP-3000 (plugged in, brightness at max) to the same video on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (at max brightness). No comparision. Galaxy S3 won hands down.

Vita-1000 has the better screen. However, I will still get the 2000 just to add to my collection, and make sure my Sapphire Blue Vita is the backup. :)
My PS Vita-1000 Systems: Cosmic Red (Japan), Sapphire Blue (Japan), Crystal White (USA). PS Vita-2000 Systems: TBA (Japan).

Well, that's a pretty noticeable difference in color quality.

Sony, why.

the colours look more washed out on the 2000, more vibrant on the 1000 but the average user wont care to notice the difference...
Looking forward to : Ys Celceta, Dragon's Crown,FFX HD, Toukiden, Demon Gaze, Mind Zero

I have been wondering if ps1 classics and psp games would look better on LCD.

Anyways, the oled definitely looks better, but that photo is bad. LCD model looks blurry compared to OLED because its closer. It can't look that blurry because its the same game and all.
