Will people still buy PS Vita(handheld) when the PS Vita TV is release?

I mean its only 100$ + 50$ for the bundle
It can do all the PS Vita can do..

Aside from portability. The PS Vita got no advantage over PS Vita TV
It can portentially stream PS3 games. The actual PS Vita can't do that

(search it on google. theres a lot of results)

I mean why the hell a 100$ product got more feature than the actual PS Vita?
if thats the case who the hell would buy the actual PS Vita now?
Some forums that ive been going to are planning to buy PS Vita TV. Since theres no reason for them to spend extra 90$ where you can get a 100$ product that has all the features from the actual ones.

For sure "w/ Touchscreen feature" games will be available for the vita TV too.
but not at launch but it will surely be available soon. If this would happen.. that makes even a good reason not to purchase the handhelds anymore.

Do you think the Vita TV can affect the PS Vita sales?
If thats the case then..
Nicely done sony for killing your own product.
PS Vita TV got more commercials than the actual ones..

So annoying when you type "ps vita news" on google.
The results are news of PS Vita TV instead of handhelds.

Aside from portability.

There's your answer. People who want a portable device will buy the portable console. It's a huge factor, especially for people still in school or who have long commuting journeys etc etc.

IMO I think people right now seems to be more interested on the PS Vita TV than the actual handheld itself.

I Hope the Vita TV will not act like a "barrier" on the handheld sales.

This isn't a problem. A Vita sale is a Vita sale, whether handheld or the console. As far as games goes, it's the same userbase and it would be growing

As for me, I plan to get the white slim Vita. No real interest in Vita TV for the moment

I hope youre right.

Instead of killing the actual Vita it would help it instead.
More 3rd party support since there are a lot of people bought this product.
and I hope it would held the handheld's sales..

But I can't get the feeling out this might kill the Actual vita
Maybe its because I'm just so pessimistic :/

When the PS Vita TV is released, it will probably in turn drive the price of the PS Vita handheld down) in such a way that it will still be worth purchasing.

The only Vita games really worth getting: Gravity Rush & P4G

Vita TV is aimed at console customers, a market the Vita itself doesn't reach out to. Handheld buyers would still buy a Vita over a Vita TV. The only things that can harm the Vita are expensive memory cards and cheaper alternatives like the 3DS.

Sure it may affect PSV stand alone units but with only with minor setbacks.

What's important is getting more customers into the "VITA platform" than just the PSV handheld units.

Worst thing it can probably do is for devs to be less creative with the backpad and front touch use but at this rate, the new unique VITA platform is likely the lesser evil (more attractive cost of entry).

To some this is good news, less "gimmicky" controls they say.

I don't see how "portability" is an irrelevant factor for choosing towards the PSV handheld unit.

Its all about the games for me. If Vita TV had been around, there is no way I would have purchased a Vita. Not worth the extra dollars to play the same games.

I travel and am away from home more than 200 days out of a year. So a handheld makes sense for me.

There will always be a segment of the market that needs a handheld.
