Rear touch pad really ruins PSX games for me >:/

The fact that most of the games I'm playing on it require the use of L2 and R2, and my hands cover most of the vita, kills the gaming experience. Already made annoying mistakes cuz I accidentally rubbed the back or have to play uncomfortably holding the edges.

Buy this:

Your fingers can rest comfortably on a section under the touch pad. No more accidental presses.

I had the same freakin' issue, it's just natural for my hands to touch the rear touch pad. Blame years of gaming on GameGear, GBA and PSP for how I'd hold the system, however when I got the Muramasa Rebirth Collector's Edition, it came with a faceplate very similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006WJ6YGW/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which also covers part of the back as well, and so now I notice when my fingers are someplace they'd hit the rear touch pad.
It's still not totally comfortable to hold my system like that, but it certainly makes it better.

first thing I did when I started playing ps1 games was reassign l/r 2 to the bottom corners of the screen tc.

I personally enjoy mapping it to the Right Stick left and right. And I assign up to L2+R2, since I don't like that touch screens aren't 100% accurate all of the time.
