The version of the game running on the slim is the updated version because it's sporting more options i the menu. For all we know, it's the updates that are causing the loading time differences. They should run identical versions with identical updates, then we'll have a real test.

I wouldn't be surprised, I'm sure any downgrade in hardware was intentional as a means to reduce price costs.
