As an early vita adopter, vita lover, and sony fan. .
I never thought I would be, but I am this close to selling my vita and games and putting that money toward other gaming machines/games.
There are 2 games that are coming out that I am interested in, of them, only one is on a high hype level. Ys Celceta. I can't think of one other game coming out in the next year that I have any interest in other than that, Demon Gaze is a little bit interesting.
I've always had Nintendo and Sony handhelds. My PSP game collection is 40+ with strong titles. I'm beggining to thing the Vita will never come close to that.
I like at all the amazing first party games Nintendo is pumping on the 3DS and the Vita lineup looks disgusting compared to it. Sony never could compare to DS's first party line up, but the thing PSP had is that it had a lot of 3rd party support and a nice line-up of RPGs. It doesn't even have that now, as the quality of Jrpgs have gone down the toilet. There is no Jeanne D'arc or port of Popolocrois.
I'm not trying to troll or bring anyone down, I love the Vita's amazing quality screen and how amazing art can look on it. But I'm disheartened. Do you hold out much hope for the Vita yourself?

I think you should buy another Vita.
If you're kind of low on cash, go ahead and sell it specially if the VITA situation is worrying you much.
You can hope for a VITA 3000 and a better library when such comes into the market.
I'm keeping the VITA mostly for PS+.
I'm actually not low on cash. But I still do try to offset gaming purchases some times by sacraficing, "the worst of my collection". If I sold my Vita, I would never buy it again, because it would just be a waste of money to sell, then buy again.
I don't think I'll sell it but I just don't see a lot of games to look forward to.

I kinda agree with you; bought my Vita at launch, have a dozen games about a quarter of those bought because they were on sale and I wanted more games, and another three indie games... there are three titles I'm looking forward to that I am aware of in the foreseeable future, and Final Fantasy isn't one of them. Neither is Tearaway. I have PS+ also but mainly use it for discounts; their offerings have failed to appeal to me for the most part.
Still, I bought my Vita as a complement to my 3DS, and it certainly serves that purpose for now. PSN sales on games coupled with PS+ discounts means I'll probably keep getting the occasional interesting PSP game I overlooked or give a game a chance that I may not normally.
So I'll keep my Vita despite a slow release schedule of AAA titles. I'd rather have it for when something I am excited for gets released than to have gotten rid of it and be filled with regret.
Don't sell it, it's resale value is so low, that it would be better to keep it for netflix or a toilet reader.

Just out of curiosity, which Vita games do you own? You gave a critically panned game like Popolocrois a chance (good call) and discovered that it was amazing. Which Vita games have you given a chance?
I semi-agree but I don't think it's nearly as bad as you say. Check this topic out btw, I think the future has promise:
Also, Dangan Ronpa next year. Don't sell your Vita until after that game.
Official Gomamon of the Pokemon X and Y Boards
if you are not hurting for money, then don't sell it.
Your psp is 10 years old.

I have 2 Vitas and and im starting to dislike it alot, to me I can honestly say it has no games that even make me wanna keep it.
There is 1 game I'm waiting for that should be out in 2014. And I'm dreaming they would make a HD version of that final fantasy game with Clouds friend Zack. I only played that game on PSP for 5mins and it was GREAT! AND LAST but least Phantasy Star Online 2 for Vita, I hope it gets a western release and I hope there is a VITA HD port of JSRF...
If they dont make something cool for Vita by 2016 lol that is when I will just trash my Vitas
ITs a long road to place in the sky.
