On 12/02/12 I said I wouldn't change this until something impossible happened. Now, Earthbound just got re-released in the US.

In one comparatively small region. It may not be super best seller ever, but that's not bad.

Come on, try and be positive.

Try counting from 1 to 2,004,285. I'll be waiting here. :-)

Seriously though. I'm glad that the Vita reached this amount. Fingers crossed for great things in 2014. :-)

"In 2012, Sony initially forecast that they would sell 10 million PlayStation Vita by the end of March 2013."

So I imagine, worldwide, there are around 6 million Vitas sold?

I guess it could be worse.

The size of the region matters little, Japan is handheld land and it has taken nearly two years to reach just two million.

Looking back, the PSP had sold around 4.5 million in Japan two years in and that was before the MH craze kicked in.

Vita will keep trucking on but let us not be fooled by its performance so far.

Being over 4 million short of that back in march was bad enough, still being around 4 million short of that eight months on is awful.

This. The Vita is doing extremely poorly compared to the DS, 3DS, and PSP.

I guess the frames per second depends largely on the internet speed. If we got better internet speeds in the foreseeable future, we might see 60 fps after all.
