Original Vita vs Vita Slim

Anyone here who has both? If so, which do you currently prefer and why? Any noticeable differences you've noticed between them when playing games?

Also, how much better is the battery life of the slim, compared to the original?

The orginal Vita has 4-5 hours.
Vita slim has 5-6 hours.

Doesn't Slim have 100mb internal memory?

It's 1GB not 100MB.

Do you actually have the Slim or not? Because Engadget's review claimed 8 hours of continuous battery life while playing Vita games...and I STILL don't know if that mark is accurate.

Based on random impressions I've read, the 8 hour mark is reported pretty often.

Then again a lot of people reported 6 hours with the original and I don't get that.

I like my vita 2000 more. The battery has GREATLY improved. I'd say 6-7 hours total. It has 1gb onboard memory but can't be used if a memory card is being used. The LCD is just as good as the oled. Honestly they look the same in person but when filmed with a camera they look different. I love how slim the 2000 is but the touchpad has been shrunk which will take some getting used to

^This :) The LCD screen is as good as the OLED, it is just that the colors are a bit different

In balance, after weighing for myself ALL the factors, I really like my Vita 2000.

I think with each iteration Sony's portable handhelds have OVERALL improved.

I want a Slim model with an OLED screen. The screen is a deal breaker itself.
