Why do you play PS Vita?

So I just saw Ninty's newest, 'why do you play 3DS' tv commercial and.... THAT is how you advertise a goddamn handheld @Sony. Take notes...

I agree.

But, now that Sony has released its PS4 we may get a "Why you should have a PS Vita." advert.

Which isn't a good thing but, wouldn't put it past Sony to do something like that.

I play my Vita because I like it, and just got it two days ago, my wife and both my kids have a 3DS in case I wanted to play Pokemon or a remake of a SNES/n64 game :P

Because for one, I can honestly say I'm not interested in any of the games in that 3DS commercial. (Well, maybe I'll pick up Mario Kart 7 with my $30 SMT4/FE credit...)

And is this commercial to make up for that old "I am not a gamer" campaign? Instead, it's "Why yes, it is for kids and don't you forget it!"

Because I loved the PSP... Vita is a big downgrade in terms of customization and I liked the PSP's XMB.

Other than that... Vita is a great system for games. The D-pad feels amazing and the analogs work better than they look like they would.

Buttons are a tad small but have a nice click.

Shoulder buttons felt nicer on the PSP.

The PSvita is everything that I want in a game console. Portable, comfortable, gen 6 graphics, one set of shoulder buttons, two comfortable analogue sticks, no analogue stick clicks, touch screen for easy menu navigation or typing digital distribution, free online, indie friendly, plenty of good JRPGs, cheap games, backwards compatible, huge memory, the list just goes on and on.

I couldn't ask for much more than that.

It's about me spending $200 importing a Vita TV only to later find out that I can't play my games. - INKU48
