I have a 3DS and I say the same thing about its games, hear me out.
3DS/Vita games are almost always $39.99, without healthy sales. Being a multiplatform gamer, I always hunt for the best deal.
On PC, during sales, I can find AAA games for as low as $2. The first week of the release of Arkham City Origins, I bought it for Steam for $18. I'd like to be play the Vita version but it's $39.99 and greatly inferior to the PC version. I can't really justify buying it.
I think Handheld games should be no greater than $29.99.
No. Gaming is infinitely cheaper than it has ever been, yet cost of making games has increased exponentially.
I understand your frugal, but you are just cheap/wrong hobby.
I disagree, just because you can afford something but don't buy it because you don't think it offers good value, doesn't mean you're cheap.
Tell me, why would I buy an inferior version of Arkham Origins on Vita for $40, when I got an infinitely superior version on Steam for $18. That left me $22 to do whatever I want with, like buy Mass Effect 3 for $6.99, Max Payne 3 and LA Noire for $9.99 (Amazon sale), and still have cash left over.
