Could it be that Wii U and Vita finally stabilized?

Nice increase for the Wii U. :-)

I thought both Criminal Girls and Kamen Rider would do better than that.

The Vita TV isn't doing so well unfortunately. The handheld iteration has stabilization in the 20k range at least.

The next few weeks will be very interesting. :-)

Eh, guess it wasn't an outlier after all. Nice that Vita is relatively stable though.

Waiting on PS4

Streaming services aren't as prevalent in Japan as is in America for example.

I imagine people wanting a cheap alternative to the Vita will buy Vita TV in N.A./EU/PAL.

They can utilize it for streaming video apps, and some PS4 owners might like the idea of remote play on their second television as an alternative to tiny Vita screen.

For example a parent who has to concede the living room television to their children, but can remote play in their bedroom.

I will probably get a Vita TV. Very useful in my home. I can keep my PS4 in my bedroom safely, but watch netflix/maybe Hulu with my housemates or remote play on the bigger television in the living room without transfering between rooms which can save time, and hassle.

I think Vita TV works best in these scenarios for PS4 owners or people interested in Vita games (if supporting VTV/dislike handhelds and prefer controllers) and also want video apps for their non-smart tv. A nice alternative to Roku/Chromcast and Apple TV while featuring things for the Sony gamer's ecosystem.

Hopefully Japan adopts streaming over time. Very few Japanese have apple tv or are concerned with streaming such things to their tv. Usually they use their handheld/phone connected to local wifi or computer unlike a place like my house where my parents own a Roku device because they like using their tv.
