New PS Vita 2000 comes out, PS Vita 1000 stops production. What do?

So the PS Vita 2000 is slightly slimmer, has 1GB of internal memory, but does not feature the amazing OLED screen. As soon as its mentioned that the PS Vita 1000 is going to stop production, I am going to buy a backup and store it in my closet. I don't want to be limited to the LCD screen in case my current Vita breaks.

Why would they go back to LCD over OLED?

That doesnt look like an improvement to me... stupid sony...

Actually it is smart for a business.

My product is losing money. So I'll reinvent it with some improvements, but give it a lesser screen for better battery, and less cost for the manufacturer.

Cheaper to make, and less financial loss when no one is buying your product in Japan, and since that model released the Vita numbers have actually increased.

It is only stupid if you don't understand capitalism, and economics.

Edit: a word
