Vita is getting more traction the more time passes and its success isn't that different than how the PSP did.

No one game can "save" the Vita. No one game can dramatically increase the userbase of any system. Many together could. But not just one.

A monster Hunter would definitely help, dunno about MGS since it's becoming more and more convoluted and harder to get into. Crisis Core also sold a lot of PSP's.

i dont think the vita can be "Saved" as the board likes to say. Even with a lot of games and exclusives, i doubt it would break 20 million units. those games would help with sales, but i dont think the vita will ever be truly big.

now please dont call me a troll. that is honestly what i think, and i love my vita.

A new exclusive or even non-exclusive Monster Hunter or MGS would be nice, but I don't think the Vita needs saving. People act like Sony is going to stop releasing games, shut down the PSN Vita store and start pulling it off the shelves soon unless sales pick up immediately. That won't happen. The Vita is never going to sell as many units as the PSP and game releases will be a bit more spaced out than other platforms, but the Vita's got a good four or five years life left in it. The question isn't will the Vita survive, but will Sony produce a third handheld or pull out of the market once the Vita reaches the end of its lifespan.

Vita doesn't need saving. Sure, the hardware isn't selling that well but the softwares are.
Sony isn't kidding about the "attached rate" to the Vita.
I can't believe I am re-buying stuff that I already owned/played again because it is digital and more convenient on the Vita.
There is a lot of money for Sony to just let Vita be an emulator for their classic/mobile games, and selling insane 64/128GB card in the future...(eff you Sony because you know a lot of Vita owners will buy a 64GB card in a heartbeat)

I am getting older and my pc/console gaming time has decreased a lot because I am getting lazier/tired to turn on the TV =(.
But Vita suspense play, and the ability to play anytime/anywhere help me regained some aspect of gaming in my life.
In 1 year, my Vita(+ PS classics) collection is outpacing my PS3 collection.
Just 30 more games to match my 60 games on the PS3/7years lifespan.

If the Vita dies in 2 years, I will probably still be playing it until I am in my 30s.
