The "Vita Section" was literally a single 2-foot long shelve, with about 5 or 6 games on it. And next to it, there were some used Vita display boxes, but none for new ones. Anyone else see things like this at GameStop? It's worrying. --- Nelson Nails
Both gamestops near me have roughly 20 games, new and used combined. Must just be your area. --- Looking forward to: Project Diva f, Hyperdimension Neptunia PP, Demon Gaze, Conception II, Deception IV, and Danganronpa. 2014: Year of the Vita.
We don't have Gamestop here, but the local Independent Video Game Retailer has a decent amount of Vita titles; the ones he thinks will sell, anyway. The Walmart has about two thirds of a section with Vita stuff, and the rest is PS3 stuff.
To be fair, they cleared out whole sections of the gaming section about three months before the PS4 and XBox One came out, leaving them bare all through September, October, and part of November. That seemed kinda dumb, but whatever. It's not like they had anything in those sections except for PS4 and XBox One headers. I'm guessing Sony and Microsoft paid to have the space be there or something ahead of time?
So yeah, we have one Walmart and one local game store here, and both sell Vita stuff, between ten and 16 titles are usually on hand at any given time. We have no other game retailers here. --- http://www.explosm.net/comics/657/
