Should I get a vita to play Psone games and cross buy games?

#1DarkRay117Posted 4/24/2014 12:41:13 PM
So i'm looking at my library on ps3 and noticing i'm getting an increased amount of games which have cross buy. And i'm thinking some of them which I didn't beat yet, stardust, retro city (flash sale) would be great in short bursts on a handheld before bed.

Also I never finished FF7 or resident evil 2. So maybe I could finish em on a vita while playing other games on my ps3.

What do you think? And is 4GB memory card enough? Cuz thats what would come in the bundle and I don't want to pay more money for a stupid priority memory card cuz Sony wants to rip ppl off.

I wouldn't get it just for that since you could already play them.

If other things interest you on the Vita then go for it (IE PSP and Vita games)

IR2 the memcard question, if you plan on going digital at all you will need a 16gb.

I'd have to say no. You can already play all those games on PS3 so buying a handheld just for those games seems like a bad idea. Also, a 4 GB card wouldn't cut it, so you'd have to sink even more money into it to buy a bigger card.

Don't let other people dictate what you can and cannot buy. get a vita if you want one okay? but you need a bigger memory card.

Yeah, it's not really worth it unless you want other games to buy.

I have a 4gb card and you have to be switching from PC to Vita constantly.

Only you can decide if it's worth it to you. I use the Vita for playing PS1 games, PSP games and Vita games. I love using it as an all-purpose console, and I've been quite satisfied with the selection thusfar. Also, I'm huge on gaming in bed. Then again I don't have a PS3 anymore and I enjoy the PSP experience better on the Vita.
People can't make the decision for you, if you feel it's something you'd appreciate and actually use, get it. Only you can answer that question.

I was having a great day. Then I discovered Zero Escape 3 was put on hold. There were no more great days.

I am the same way, I game almost every night in bed on my Vita right before I go to sleep. It is great having ps1 and psp rpgs to play anywhere.
