I got a game from gamestop new and I emailed and complained about it because it wasn't new kind of, they said they would email me back 10-15 days later...anyways I was wandering should I open the game up or should I wait until they email me back.

I really wanna play it but I don't know if I open it if it would mess anything up...anyways by suggestions about what I should do???

10-15 days to email you back....they are trying to scam you. At best they should contact you in 2-3 days.

I would initiate a refund....

How is the game not new? It Is sealed, right?

If it isn't new then why does it matter if you open it?

Some more details could be useful. What exactly is the problem with the game?

I bought it new but they went out to the floor and got the case and put the game in it...I thought new was suppose to be already in the case wrapped up. The case has a rip on the plastic on the backside. I got ocd when it comes to keeping the cases not messed up

If it's damaged then I think you should return it. You paid for a new game.

That's why I emailed and made a complaint about it

Complaining about the condition of your box is one thing, but the opening and storing of new games is SOP for gamestop. Only preorder's come sealed. Sucks, I know, but if you want a sealed copy of a game, you need to go elsewhere. This isn't news.

That's not right, I know this isn't news I was just asking what I should do tho like should I keep the game and open it or just leave it closed and wait till I get a email back
