Given how they ported the games to the Nintendo DS, WiiWare, iOS and now 3DS in a span of 8 years, you'd think that it would be common sense for Capcom to port them to the Vita as well and benefit from a new audience.

I know I'd love to play them (again) on my Vita, how about you?

Just realized that trophy hunters would be pleased with these games as well, as they will most likely be easy plats.

I've wonder this sort of thing about a number of 3rd party franchises, including Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton, and Rune Factory--but it may just come down to not wanting to be bothered with all the effort if there won't be a particularly significant profit out of it.
Touch screen elements should be all right for Vita, but there is the issue of going from two screens to one. Might just be too much work for them to care.

^ Wouldn't be a problem for the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, since they are available on Apple devices.

Layton would be great on Vita as well, yes. Don't know if Nintendo will have a say in that, though. Aren't they 2nd party these days?

Just get a 3DS if you want to play them so bad.

^ I have a 3DS. I just prefer the Vita and would rather play them on that.

Because the ace attorney fanbase is already on Nintendo systems as it has been since it started on GBA? Also much larger install base and Capcom seems barely even realize Vita exists.
