Any reason why the Phoenix Wright Trilogy isn't coming to Vita?

^ I have a 3DS. I just prefer the Vita and would rather play them on that.

Why?

Because Vita is my favorite system and Ace Attorney is my favorite series.

What possible advantage does the Vita have over the 3DS re: Phoenix Wright?

The games themselves? Nothing. The Vita over the 3DS? Everything. I have both systems, own 50+ Vita games and 11 3DS games. My reaction has nothing to do with software (the 3DS has a great library of games), I'm just not a fan of Nintendo's hardware.

The hardware wouldn't change this game at all. It's not going to have new PS3-lite graphics or use the second stick. The only change would be trophies, which in adventure games are "beat the game."

99% of the people who own a VITA don't know what Phoenix Wright is so why should Capcom waste time and money on it?

Wow...:/

Did the west knew what PW was when they localized the games for the NDS? No. Did iOS owners knew what it was? No.

That's also not what I'm saying. I collect games and invest a lot of time in the Vita. For me personally, I would love to play some of my favorite games on my favorite handheld. It will be a new experience for the ones who never played on Nintendo's systems.

I'm not sure why people are going against my posts anyway. A Vita port would make a lot of sense from a business perspective, yet most of you are fighting the idea of it.

From a business perspective, it's a terrible idea as there is basically no chance that the time and money spent porting the games over to Vita would see a return on investment. Capcom didn't even think a physical release made sense.

Just play the game on the 3DS and stop making a big deal about it. I would understand if you didnt own a 3DS and that's why your asking for why isn't on vita but you own both systems so enjoy what both have to offer and stop complaining enjoy the small things in life.

Like I said before, throw them on PSN. Will save them a lot of time and money. Also, I'm 100% sure that these games will be a success if they go multi-platform. You have no idea how many Sony fans are unaware of the series existence.

I don't see how this can be a big deal for someone owning both consoles. I can understand people wanting Monster Hunter on the Vita because frankly, I find the 3DS a terrible platform for it but not Phoenix Wright. The Vita would offer nothing extra outside trophies.

If you want exposure for the series, every other platform than the Vita is a better choice. Android, PC and even PS4.

As should be obvious by now, my main point was that Capcom complained about AA not being successful in the west. They stated that Dual Destinies would have been the last game for us if it didn't live up to an x amount of sales. If they are struggling with the series reaching the western audience, it would be a smart move to port them to a Sony handheld to reach a different audience.

That's all I'm saying, has nothing to do with my personal preferences.
