Bamco is NOT doing us a favor! They are merely trying to exploit us while we are most vulnerable. DO NOT accept Tales of Heart R, the false prophet, as your savior. Stay true and stay strong and our true savior will come.

If we all band together we can fight back this pretender. Join hands with me and tell them No Dub NO BUY!

We will NOT stand for this abuse. If you can't treat us with respect, we don't want you at all Bamco.

What is everyone trying to accomplish with this "no dub no buy"? The situation at hand is that they're localizing a game in a country in which the system is flopping like there's no tomorrow. Sales are going to mediocre at best. There is a difference between boycotting a popular game on a popular system because the developer is being greedy and boycotting a game on a flopping system (that only ever existed because Hideo Baba really LOVES Sony) that was only localized because someone at Sony begged really hard to make it happen. And then what happens? "No dub, no buy"? So pathetic.

If you boycott the game and it will sell even less, they won't be thinking "Wow, this sold horribly, we better add a dub to the next Vita RPG we release in NA!". They will be thinking "Wow, Vita games in NA sell like s***. We're done with this".

It's not a surprise that this system is dead. Beggars can't be choosers, and reacting with such arrogance because the bone that was thrown for the nearly dead system is chipped on the edge is just sad.

this is dead on, the "no dub no buy" thing isnt fighting for some noble cause, but rather only hurting the fans in the long run.

I wouldnt mind buying it, the problem is that if it sells well (doubtful), Namco Bandai would think that half-baked localization would be acceptable, which they are not. So I might as well not get it and support instead Xillia 2, this where their localization effort all went on obviously, while Hearts R localization was a low-budget afterthought.

Well at Gamestop you can get a rubber ducky, a water gun, or a pirate sleeve Wii bundle.

Is everyone that won't buy the game because they would have to read willing to pay an extra $10 or $20 so that Namco Bandai can hire voice actors?

It's a handheld game with a low install base.
I can appreciate not wanting to hear languages outside one's own in media, but let's face it: everyone who wants Tales games on the system and then doesn't buy it when it doesn't have an English language track will not be likely to convince the company to put an English voice track in; it is more likely that they won't bother localizing any more games.
