For the past month PS Vita has been beating the 3ds slowly gaining ground.

For the past month, the huge gap between the 3DS and the Vita has been increasing in size, like it always did since the Vita launched, except in 2-3 weeks.

It might not catch the 3ds sales lifetime but it will be pretty darn close.

Pretty damn close? LOL!

LOL at all the whiners and trolls. They know Vita tv and new model will kill all competition. Festering wounds for the Nintendrones by the gallons. - karissa1

Sony isn't dropping first party support, just making less first party. They wouldn't have bothered to release freedom wars if they completely dropped it.

I doubt FW is the last game we're getting that is 1st party.

its doing well in Japan

No its not.

2nd place among 5 systems is doing well

Selling 13k a week with 3m LTD is not doing well. The 3DS sells twice as much despite already having sold 15m.

Just because you love the vita doesn't mean you can outright lie about it. The sales gap of the 3DS and the vita is getting bigger, not smaller.

It will slowly and steadily amass a good library of games, but people like the topic creator will ignore every good game that does come out and act as if all that gets released are ports and multiplats. It's not going to dominate the market, but it's not going to be discontinued.

Lol. You say it's a troll topic and yet you decided to bump it despite it's inactivity for two days.

This topic was a pretty interesting read until the regionally challenged individual showed up.

Here's whats hurting the Vita in a nutshell: people don't want to play games UNLESS its the only the kinds of games they like even though that isn't the way gaming works.

This is as much the fault of the consumers who have the "Have it your way" Burger King mentality as it is Sony. There's no point in continuing support when the people all want to play something different. This isn't the mid 90's to mid 00's when cost was reasonable and developers/publishers/localizers could take chances throwing out all different kinds of games.

The bottom line is this: you want Sony to bend over backwards for you yet you aren't always willing to do the same. It's not fair to you but its ok when its not you having to worry. That isn't how gaming works ... never has, and both you and Sony are suffering for it.

Man ... you guys (especially the regionally challenged individual) have a lot to learn about gaming ...

Oh and btw is the regionally challenged individual you are talking about?

Who cares most Games made by Sony suck anyway. Sony is mainly a Hardware company. Let Sony make the Vita's and let the 3rd parties make the games. If you want *quality* first party titles you wouln't own a Sony System you'd own a Nintendo System.

To be honest as long as they keep bringing over weird Japanese games
I could care less about first party support.

In Japan, the Vita's in second place, outselling both the PS4 and the Wii U in Japan this past week, behind the 3DS by 8,000 units.

The fact is, people predicted doom and gloom every single year the PSP was out. For every major release, people would say "Is this the PSP's last major release?" It happened every year.

It's going to be the same for the Vita.

It will slowly and steadily amass a good library of games, but people like the topic creator will ignore every good game that does come out and act as if all that gets released are ports and multiplats. It's not going to dominate the market, but it's not going to be discontinued.

Difference is vita is selling way lower than psp did

And who's fault is that? Not the Vita, and not the gamers, it's the game developers that aren't releasing games for it in the US. The vita has maybe 10-20 good games in the US that are not just PS3 ports. In japan they have a TON.
