Farm Simulator 14 is only 90mb yet has a physical release. Seriously???

Seeing how the carts can hold 4gb, seems like a waste for a game like Farm Simulator 14.

How terrible of them to want to reach digital AND physical markets! Bastards, I say!

It is the sort of game that may appeal to people who impulse-buy in stores.

Minecraft is only 100MB but it's released on a 25GB Blu-Ray.

The reason Farming Simulator got a physical release over those other games like Freedom Wars, is Farming Simulator has the most mainstream appeal and would generate more sales (Farming Simulator on the PS3/360 in 2013 debut no.8 in the UK). Games like Freedom Wars with it's character designs and Japanese only voice-overs immediately screams foreign and would turn off most gamers. I only know one person who plays video games in a foreign language.

Farming Simulator on the other hand is Western, familiar, everyone knows what farming is and the low age rating means it has large amount of appeal. Typically it would be played by casual gamers who don't what to mess around with technical things like memory sticks and online accounts

The fun thing about cartridges is that you don't have to produce a 4GB one for a 90MB game.

LOL at all the whiners and trolls. They know Vita tv and new model will kill all competition. Festering wounds for the Nintendrones by the gallons. - karissa1
