personally? I love them.

I just wish there were less hentai elements in them.

I enjoy the many without those themes though, and still some with them (Fate stay night)

^Honestly though, I don't think we read any more or less than others, it's just that we've come to the point where our society, in particular, caters to the ADHD generation.

There were still a lot of English and History majors where I went to college, but it's definitely on the decline.

Nah, americans are too much into pew pews and stuff like that to care about reading a story.

JAST and Mangagamer are apparently doing well, and kickstarters for visual novels are often funded. VNs are even allowed on Steam now. So take that as you will.
