The Vita is already outdated, and Apple is making the Vita obsolete

They just announced Bioshock, the Xbox 360/PS3 version will be on the latest iPad and iPhones. Think about that. The newer tablets and phones are powerful to run these games now. Apple makes great hardware and iTunes is very popular and very cheap. I don't understand how the Vita can sell games for $40, when they're like $10 on the iTunes store.

It is better to play it on the newest iPad, because it can do so much more than the Vita. It's very difficult for Sony to even compete, because Apple and I'm pretty sure Samsung and others are already making better devices and they can do so much more. The only reason why Nintendo is still relevant with its 3DS is because of its exclusive titles, that is it. Nintendo knows this, and that's why they don't want to port Mario to the Apple or Google store, which is a smart decision on them. I'd be very interested to see what Sony decides to do.

EDIT-

The newest iPhone will also be able to run it.

Potato chip is right on this one, surprisingly.

If hardware was all the matters, all I would use is my cpu.

They made controllers usable on the tablet right?

Because honestly it sounds really tough to play with touchscreen controls.

I feel like smartphones are lame when it comes to gaming. No passion because anything over a few bucks gets ignored and everybody is going for that F2P/Social big bucks.

That platform needs a lot of work.

Does Apple have controllers build into the iPhone/iPad and have slots for putting in a game card or disk? If no slot for the game, does it have at least a 1 TB harddrive?
