They do. Right before they toss a grenade, I would headshot the guy and the grenade will kill any of his comades, as long as they are within the blast range.

I'm only on chapter 2, not far at all, but I've shot grenades out of an enemy's hand at least twice. The second time, the enemy just stood there on top of his grenade as it exploded, but he didn't die. In fact, I don't think he was even hurt as it took another 4 Defender rounds to drop him.

Bug, or feature?

its a bug gernades hurt them but can you guys explain to me how to throw the gernades i cant figure it out im try with touch with no accuracy

Dragging grenades seems to work well in open areas (and I've definitely seen other enemies than the thrower killed by an enemy's grenade, as the original poster was wondering).

I did have a problem earlier in the game where when I dragged a grenade over a low fence or railing to throw it at someone, it would instead be dropped at Drake's feet. There's a scene early in the game when drake is going down some stairs into a large room full of enemy (he's still together with chase). When I tried to throw a grenade there, it would instead fall at Drake's feet. Oops! I think this also happened in the larger sniper area when Chase is escaping from the truck with the explosives. Attempting to throw grenades while right next to the short wall invariably failed, IIRC.

These are only minor complaints, though. The game is great fun, although I wish it made when it had saved the game much more obvious to the gamer. 8-(
