Does it live up to the series? Thinking of getting a vita sometime and this game would be my reason for doing so. Is the game at least half as good as 1 2 and 3 is on ps3?
I am not computer Savvy, don't expect me to know stuff http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227314 Idimmu88 can't push up on the right stick
Overall I really enjoyed the game. It doesn't have the set pieces like 2 & 3 but there is great character interaction. If you are a moderate fan of the series you will be glad you experienced it.
PSN and Xbox 360: FenDiesel
this is my first uncharted game i enjoyed im going to buy the next three in the series tomorrow
It's personally my 2nd favorite of the series.
To me: UC2>UC:GA>UC3>UC1
And to be clear I loved all of the games. They are all absolutely fantastic.
I loved it, but my expectations were really low. Mostly because it was developed by a different company for a new portable hardware. And don't get me wrong, I loved it, but its not on the level of the console series. Definitely worth picking up and the collectables add replayability in a game without multiplayer.
It's a decent action game but I think it's way below the series standards. Subpar aiming basically ruins the revelation of using dual sticks and its mostly that textbook handheld spinoff feeling. Like Assassins Creed Bloodlines or something. I actually did enjoy it still even though i dont hold it particularly high regards. I paid a premium and i didnt get that premium game i wanted. It gets a free pass because of the system its on. I'll be a minority here but get it cheap if you can and dont come expecting the full uncharted experience.
it's okay I guess.
No, I'm not trolling.
It looks pretty. Runs good. Bend Studios didn't break the game and kept most of that Uncharted flavor intact so that's a plus.
I don't like the characters.(personal opinion) The voice acting is good though. Again my personal opinion but I think they yap a little too much sometimes.
They treat Drake like a POS little kid and downplay his abilities.(fact)
Where they were going with the story and how it played out was alright and they had a really good concept at the end but I felt it didn't deliver for me. The END end(the part right before the credits roll) was lackluster IMO. This fact will change from person to person.
The game play was of course inspired by the previous Uncharted games yet the execution itself was uninspired.
Whether you like or dislike the touch stuff, they are placed in spots to break up the game play and extend play time but some are in really awkward locations which hindered my enjoyment a bit.
You know the game looks good. You know there is a bunch of people that love this game. So check it out whether you buy it or not. I'm not trying to stop you with this post.
To me the main things that turn me off is the quality of the story(the writing and presentation) and the pacing of the game. Those two factors I feel could have been greatly improved upon. But those two things other people enjoy a lot as well so...
