Input lag fact finding

#1papasurf31Posted 11/27/2011 3:38:36 PM
If you feel you have input lag while playing, please list the type of the PS3 you have, the resolution you play on, your internet service provider and type, and what kind of TV you have.

For example, my setup:
PS3: 120gb Slim
Resolution: 1080p/720p (both exhibit lag)
Internet: Verizon DSL
TV: Samsung PN58B850 (58" plasma)

If you don't have input lag, feel free to also post your system set up. Hopefully, we can figure out what the issue is and give DICE some valuable information to go on.

Don't post here complaining or claiming it doesn't exist blah blah. Go waste someone else's time, this is for fact finding only. If you can't be mature about it, go be a douchebag somewhere else.

The issue is with the game, not peoples' setup. It only bothered me for a day. After that I got used to it. Just like I did with Killzone. After a few days with it, it feels normal. All Dice has to do is adjust the deadzone.

No input lag here. People need to stop crying about this in every game these days, it doesn't make you sound leet.

If that were true, everyone would notice it, wouldn't it? I've never noticed this.

If everyone was the same, then yes. But we are all different, so it affects people differently.

And like you said, you just didn't notice it. Just because you didn't notice it doesn't mean it isn't there.

Your TV is whats affecting the input lag. It's half the TV and half the game's fault.

TVs with frame interpolation need to have game mode on or else they will have input lag for sure. I have everything set up right but still have a little input lag, which im completely used to for the most part.

Once this game is patched we will see how it feels.
