When does the game pick up?

I just finished the part where you get to pilot a ship for the first time. So far, the game has been a snooze-fest....plz tell me it does pick up, both in terms of plot and gameplay?

Did you like any of the other Assassin's Creed games?

Sequence 8 or 9 is where I got into it a bit more.

When you go to prison.

In my opinion, you just hit the spot where it starts to pick up.

It doesn't. End of sequence 3 was the peak of the game; the game goes downhill from there.

I'm exactly up to the part where TC's at

So, I'm asking the same question as well

I'd say middle of Sequence 6.

but IMHO I loved the entire game.

Yeah I also loved the entire game. Not sure where all this "slow pace" talk comes from as it seems to me that the game runs the same as all the other AC games.

Why can't people just enjoy the ride? Enjoy the subtle progression of storyline that doesn't try to rush you to the next big action scene? Heck, I find just exploring and doing missions in the frontier a lot of fun. There's so much to see and do in this game. And since I'm an Assassin's Creed fan, a fan of these games' narrative and gameplay, I think the pacing is perfect. I'm in no hurry for this game to be over.

I suppose I shouldn't be criticizing what other people like. It just feels like players can't enjoy slow paced entertainment anymore.
