So what can I expect from this game? I don't know much besides when the game takes place and who Connor is.

Lots and lots of sidequests.

Have you played the past games?

No not really. I played AC1 very very briefly, but I didn't care too much for it.

I recommend reading a summary of AC1's story and then getting the Ezio Trilogy(Includes Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations) before starting this. AC1 tends to scare away people(personally, I didn't mind it too much, but my tolerance levels are higher than some), whereas those who decided to give AC2 a shot usually don't regret it.

You can get the Ezio Trilogy from Gamestop for around $40. Well worth it, in my opinion.

EDIT: And by "usually don't regret it", I mean that AC2 is a vast improvement on AC1.

Ok thanks. I will probably beat this one before I grab the trilogy.
Also I know this isn't the place for this, but what other games would you recommend? I only have this, lollipop chainsaw, and sims 3(but I'm not gonna play that)

Well, if you haven't played any of the Mass Effect games yet, you could get the Mass Effect Trilogy. It costs about $60 at Gamestop. And supposedly, Ni No Kuni is a pretty good game, so you could check that out as well.

BTW, the reason I suggested that you play the AC games in order is because the story continues from one game to the next. You know, spoiler reasons and whatnot.

If you like action adventure you should play the Uncharted series:

Uncharted - Drake's fortune
Uncharted 2 - Among Thieves
Uncharted 3 - Drake's Deception

They are PS3 exclusive and are in my opinion alone enough reason to buy a PS3!

While Uncharted 1 is sometimes a little unbalanced Uncharted 2 is a perfect game in my opinion and Uncharted 3 nearly as good as Uncharted 2.

I have 35 PS3 title at home and that's only the ones I kept so I think there are tons of games worth playing on the PS3 :-)
