How long will this take to drop in price?

I'm getting Medal Of Honor which comes out a few days before this because I reckon it will keep me interested for longer (The AC multiplayer can be great at times but too many people who would rather take their high profile 100 point kill than let someone else get a 700 point kill) but I definitely want to get this at some point.

Don't expect the price to drop before March, except by maybe $10.

If you're looking for a new copy, AC:3 probably won't drop below $40 for at least a year. You'll probably find used copies at $30 or so but those will already have their UPass codes entered so you won't be able to play multiplayer.

Don't listen to these guys' short sightedness(no offense guys) this game will see a price drop within a month of release even if only for a few hours.... It's called Black Friday, and since AC3 is one of the big new releases I can almost guarantee that you will see it on sale. Now whether or not your able to get a copy all depends on how lucky you are.

sale price =/= price drop

sale prices are not permanent, price drops are.

Like I said no offense, he asked "drop in price" not for a "price drop" so yes, a sale is a drop in price. Semantics right....

$40 for black friday is a BIG 'maybe'. I'm thinking $50 for black friday is more likely, if there's any sale at all.

Within two months, historically, every AC title has gone down to 35ish used.

Here's evidence: http://videogames.pricecharting.com/search?q=assassin+creed&type=videogames&submit=Go

By After Christmas or in January it would be 30ish.
